You've likely heard it a lot these days, but if you've poked around our site a bit, you'll have seen by now that it's truly been baked into our core.
Our lashes go above and beyond because we believe it's about time we all stop using unnecessary plastic, there ARE alternatives and we're so proud to offer that with our lashes.

It's That Simple
While developing our line of magnetic eyelashes, we made a decision to cut out any unnecessary waste from our packaging and the first place we knew we could start was with our lash trays.
Incorporating sustainability into your beauty routine is easiest when done in small increments and you can start today
Our packaging is made of 100% recyclable materials, printed with soy based inks and our lash trays are the first of their kind; made of Sugar Cane Bagasse - a biodegradable, renewable resource.
Simply remove the magnetic holding band from the tray before disposal and you've taken one step closer to a zero-waste beauty regime!

Bagasse is a natural byproduct of sugarcane refinement. Sugarcane stalks are crushed in order to extract their juices, bagasse is the fiber that remains
TO THIS
Bagasse pulp requires minimal processing and elemental chlorine free (ECF) bleaching to turn it into a woven high-strength paper.

When you're ready to recycle them, no cutting magnets out of the box required, no hoops.

According to researchandmarkets.com,
"The false eyelashes market was valued at US$ 1,377.28 million in 2021 and is projected to reach US$ 2,046.61 million by 2028; it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 5.8% from 2021 to 2028."
A large share of all false eyelash sales are held by strip lashes. Which each come in plastic trays (although there ARE some great businesses catching on and beginning to offer sustainable options - win!).
So while it may seem like one single tray won't make a difference, we like to live by the mantra,

Our purchases matter.
Eight per cent of the world’s current oil production is used to produce plastics, and these plastics, after use, take up at least 25 percent of an average landfill site.
