How long does it take to process an order?

Please allow 1-2 business days for your order to be processed and packed for shipment.

We're making every effort to get your awesome new products into your hot little hands as quickly as possible! Please note that orders placed on weekends are generally processed for shipment the following business day.


Where do you ship?

We currently ship throughout:

  • Canada
  • United States

Will I have to pay duties, taxes, or tariffs on U.S. orders?

Possibly.

Due to changes in U.S. import regulations and the removal of certain duty exemptions, your order may be subject to:

  • Import duties
  • Customs fees
  • Taxes
  • Tariff charges

Unfortunately, we don't get to determine these fees — they're assessed by U.S. Customs and the shipping carrier and are not included in your order total.

Any applicable duties, taxes, or fees are the responsibility of the recipient.

If a package is refused or returned due to unpaid duties, customs charges, or taxes, shipping costs and any related fees will be deducted from your refund.

What shipping carriers do you use?

Depending on your location, we may ship with:

  • Canada Post
  • UPS
  • Purolator
  • FedEx

All available shipping options for your address will appear during checkout.


How long will it take for my order to arrive?

Delivery times vary depending on your location. Most orders arrive within 3-7 business days after shipment.

Please note that shipping times are estimates only and may vary due to weather, customs processing, carrier delays, holidays, or other circumstances outside of our control.

The closer you are to Alberta, the faster your package may arrive.


How do I track my order?

You'll receive a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number as soon as your order has been fulfilled.

You can use this to track your travelling bundle and follow its journey right to your doorstep.


Damaged or Lost Packages

My package arrived damaged.

We're terribly sorry.

We package our orders with lots of cozy cushioning, but occasionally it seems the couriers practice their football skills with our packages.

If your package arrives damaged, please contact us as soon as possible and include:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damaged products
  • Photos of the packaging

We'll work with you to make it right as quickly as possible.


My package hasn't arrived.

First, we're so sorry.

Please contact us within 4 weeks of shipment so that we can open an investigation with the shipping carrier.

If the package is deemed lost by the carrier, we may offer a replacement, refund, or store credit depending on product availability and the circumstances of the claim.

Please contact us at support@qmbeautique.ca with the subject line LOST PACKAGE or, if you're feeling dramatic, ITEMS GONE INTO THE ABYSS. We'll know exactly what you mean.


My tracking says “Delivered,” but I don't have my package.

Please check around your property, with household members, and with neighbors. If you are not able to locate your package, the next step is to contact the carrier directly. Any investigations require a ticket from the recipient.

Once a package has been marked as delivered by the carrier, QMBeautique™ is not responsible for lost or stolen packages. However, we'll always do our best to assist you and point you in the right direction.


Local Delivery — Airdrie, Alberta

Do you offer local delivery?

Yes! We currently offer free local delivery within Airdrie, Alberta on orders over $25.

We're still testing this service and may make adjustments in the future.

How long does local delivery take?

Please allow 1 business day for order processing and 1-2 business days for delivery.

Apartment deliveries

If your order is being delivered to an apartment building, please ensure your buzzer code is included at checkout and your phone number is correct.

Only one delivery attempt will be made to apartment buildings. If we are unable to access the building due to incorrect information, additional delivery fees may apply.


Order Changes & Cancellations

Orders are generally processed within 24-48 hours.

If you need to make changes or cancel your order, please contact us within 3 hours of placing your order.

Although we cannot guarantee changes once an order begins processing, we'll always do our best to help.

Returns

What is your return policy?

We offer a 30-day return policy from the date your order is delivered.

To be eligible for a return, products must be unused, unopened, in their original packaging, and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Items sent back without first contacting us to request a return will not be accepted.

Unless the return is due to our error, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.

What if my product arrives damaged or defective?

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is damaged, defective, or if you received the wrong item.

We'll gladly work with you to make things right and may offer a replacement, refund, store credit, or another suitable resolution.

Can I return a used product?

Unfortunately, no.

Due to hygiene and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns or exchanges on products that have been opened, used, worn, tested, or tampered with.

This includes, but is not limited to, false lashes, eyeliners, skincare products, and personal care products.

What if I have an allergic reaction?

Individual sensitivities and allergic reactions vary from person to person.

Customers are responsible for reviewing ingredient lists and product information before use.

Products that have been opened or used due to an allergic reaction or sensitivity are not eligible for return or refund.

If you experience an adverse reaction, discontinue use immediately and seek medical advice if necessary.

Can I return an item after 30 days?

Unused and unopened products returned between 31-60 days after delivery may be eligible for online store credit.

Store credit does not expire and is non-transferable.

Are shipping charges refundable?

Original shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

How long do refunds take?

Once your return has been received and inspected, we'll notify you whether your refund has been approved.

Approved refunds are generally processed within 5-10 business days, depending on your financial institution.

What items cannot be returned?

We cannot accept returns on opened or used products, final sale items, clearance items, promotional bundles marked as final sale, gift cards, or products damaged by misuse or improper handling.


Exchanges

Can I exchange my order?

Absolutely!

Exchanges may be requested within 30 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.

If the exchange item costs more than the original purchase, you'll simply pay the difference. If it costs less, we'll refund the difference to your original payment method.

As soon as your returned item has been received and inspected, your exchange will be processed and sent to you as quickly as possible.

What's the fastest way to get a different item?

The quickest option is to return your original item, if eligible, and place a new order once your return has been approved.

Please include your order number, full name, the item you'd like to exchange, and the item you'd prefer instead.
