A: Unfortunately, you cannot combine discount or promotional codes.

You can use this tracking number to track your travelling bundle and get up to date delivery status. 

We fulfil orders with cozy cushioning to help ensure your new products arrive free of damage; however, it is alleged that sometimes the couriers practice their football skills with packages and damage may occur.

Annoying? Yes, and we are terribly sorry if this has happened to your package.  If your package arrives and the contents inside are damaged, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can arrange a suitable solution for you.

If your order does not arrive, let us first apologize for the inconvenience. Please contact us within 4 weeks of dispatch so that we can lodge an inquiry pronto! It is important to do this quickly as lost package claims require prompt investigation; someone is without their new favorite products and also the couriers have claim deadlines.

We will make every effort to track down your items and replace them if they’re lost. If the items are no longer available, we will either get you a refund, exchange or in store credit for the value of the goods which have consigned to oblivion.

If your order did not arrive, contact us through our contact page or by emailing us at support@qmbeautique.ca and use subject line "LOST PACKAGE" or "ITEMS GONE INTO THE ABYSS" or something alarming like that.

Your 100% satisfaction is important to us, we want you to love your new products (and we're sure you will) but if for any reason, you are not satisfied, we offer free returns or exchanges within 30-days of item receipt. You can return your product for store credit, a different product, or a refund to the original payment method.

Returns between 31-60 days are eligible for a store credit. To be eligible for a return, goods must be unused, undamaged, in their original packaging and accompanied by proof of purchase.

Customers are strongly recommended to get proof of postage when returning goods to avoid "lost packages" situations.

When returned item is received and inspected, you will receive a confirmation email, with notification about the status of the refund. 

Once the refund is approved, then it will be processed and a credit will automatically be applied to customer's credit card or original payment method shortly after.

We do our best to inspect all products prior to dispatch but should a defective item be delivered to you, we will gladly replace it. Please include a photo of the defective product and confirmation of return; as soon as it has been received, a full refund will be issued to the original method of payment within 7 business days.

They're false eyelashes that have tiny magnets attached to the lash band - which then attach to either a second band designed in the same way - which sandwiches your lashes, to a magnetic eyeliner or adhesive or by way of anchor magnets (similar to the first one, but with more precision). 

Unlike traditional false lashes which are applied using a glue, magnetic eyelashes eliminate the hassle of applying glue to your eyelids - they're reusable and don't damage your natural lash line.

In a nutshell, magnetic eyeliner is like your regular liquid eyeliner, but with superpowers. It's like the Clark Kent of eyeliners, unassuming at first glance but capable of attracting all kinds of metallic goodies.

What makes the eyeliner magnetic is the concentration amount of a cosmetic pigment known as Iron Oxides, which have been used as a coloring agent for cosmetics since the early 1900's.

So you have an eyeliner infused with magnetic properties, you have a false lash with tiny magnets and they work together like peanut butter and jelly.

This is a really common question and one that we asked before diving into the business.

Magnetic eyelashes are simply false lashes which have small magnets adhered to the band, which then connect either to another magnetic eyelash band, to magnetic lash anchors or to a magnetic eyeliner.

Specifically answering, "Are Magnetic Eyelashes and Eyeliner Safe" - While we cannot speak to other formulas, ours does not contain harmful ingredients, nor does it contain a long list of filler ingredients or ingredients known to cause allergic reactions (you can read more on that here).

The eyeliner is is applied to your upper eyelid in the same manner that regular liquid eyeliner is - the secret?

What makes the eyeliner magnetic is the concentration amount of a cosmetic pigment known as Iron Oxides, which have been used as a coloring agent for cosmetics since the early 1900's.

This ferrous material makes the bond between eyeliner and eyelash possible. Iron oxides have been used as pigments in a variety of applications.

Iron oxides are made up of iron and oxygen and originate from naturally occurring mineral deposits; however the iron oxides used in cosmetics are made synthetically.

FUN FACT: Even products that are certified organic use synthetic iron oxides to color their cosmetics because they are highly stable and pose very little risk to consumers and in fact, there is a difference between the level of impurities between the natural and synthetic forms of iron oxides. Synthetic versions are actually considered safer than natural versions, which often contain impurities.

For instance, oxides formed in a natural, uncontrolled setting are often contaminated with heavy metals. This demonstrates that just because an ingredient is all natural does not always mean it is safe.

Synthetically prepared iron oxides are considered to be safe as used in cosmetics and personal care products because they are non-toxic and non-allergenic and even well tolerated by those with sensitive skin.

As with any cosmetic, you want to avoid getting the product into your eyes and since the false lash has small magnets placed along the lash line, care should be taken when applying to ensure they do not contact the eyeball itself, which could scratch or damage it.

The one thing we do warn about regarding the magnetic eyeliner system is use during an MRI.  Since the product is magnetic, never use magnetic eyeliner or lashes during MRI. Use of magnetic eyeliner or lashes may affect proper function of hearing aids, pacemakers or defibrillators. If any of these apply to you, we do not recommend using this product.

When applied correctly, magnetic eyelashes will not damage your own lashes and that is what makes it such a great alternative to eyelash extensions. 

Our lashes all come with a very detailed instruction brochure, as well as links on how to properly apply, remove and care for your lashes to make sure you and your false lashes are always in tip top shape!

Our lashes are meticulously hand crafted with care and attention to bring a beautifully resilient lash that can be reworn up to 30+ times with proper maintenance and care.

Caring for your false lashes will ensure longevity. It's worth the effort because they are reusable and keeping them in tip top shape ensures good hygiene, more use and a great look each time!

1. Avoid applying makeup directly to your false lashes. Apply mascara to your natural lashes just before applying your false lashes. Using mascara helps to blend it all together - so if you do use it, apply prior to strip lash application to avoid using getting it directly on false lashes.

2. Clean your lashes after each use and before storage. After use and before storing your lashes, if there is any eyeliner residue on the lash magnets, you'll want to remove it from the base of your lash band and lash magnets.

You can use clean hands, tweezers or our lint-free flock tip applicators with a bit of micellar water or oil-based makeup remover to gently break it down and wash it off.

If you have any mascara that happened to get on the lashes, use a clean mascara spoolie to comb through and take off any chunks.

If your lashes are in need of a deep clean (there was a lot of makeup transfer, etc.) - use a disposable bamboo & cotton round and place your strip lashes on top. Soap a disposable flock tip applicator with micellar water or oil-based makeup remover and gently massage the lash band, magnets and fibers to remove leftover mascara, eyeliner, dirt or excess oils.

3. Place lashes back in their lash tray to maintain their shape. FerroLashes come with a magnetic holding strip on the tray, attach your lashes along the magnetic holding band - keep the box open until they dry completely.

Once the bands are dry, close your storage box and they're ready for next use!

Absolutely.

In terms of strip lash application, we would argue that it likely will not get any easier than this.

Having said that, there is still a learning curve when it comes to false lashes.

Yes, they absolutely do.

However, something to note is that following the initial invention in 2018, there have been many revisions to the method.

Since it was fantastic in theory and had something very powerful to build off of, the initial formulations needed work because it was often not magnetic enough, the eyeliner would crack or lift due to the high concentration of iron oxides, dry time was somewhat inconvenient, etc.

Unfortunately, any first movers to the market learned very quickly that in order to keep customers happy, some work needed to be done to eliminate annoyances like this and ensure it was easier, more dependable and quicker.

At the time of this FAQ answer (October 2023), the formulas on the market have significantly improved over the past 5/6 years and if you tried magnetic eyeliner without success before - here us now, you will not be disappointed again (at least with ours, we really can't speak to all of the liners on the market, but there are some other great ones out there)...

When the directions are followed (and we make them very easy to follow), your lashes attach easily and will not budge.

It'd be a crying shame if they weren't.

This comes down to personal preference!

The full band is easier to apply in the beginning and so we recommend it for beginner users; however, the customizability of the lash segments are our favorite part of our lash line!

Using the magnetic lash tweezers will be really important for the lash segments as you can hold them close to the end of the lash and place them down with much more precision and ease. 

Absolutely. The full band may not fit your eyes as they are quite long and everyones eyes are different, trimming the band is encouraged to get the right fit.

Some people have longer lash lines and do require the full band but many find they are simply too long.

In this case, we recommend snipping the outer corners of the lash first (never the inside as that tapers to the inner corner of the eyes and snipping that would result in an unnatural looking inner corner).

When trimming the lash band, be sure snip against a magnet so that you don't have a strip of the band that sticks out.

Alternatively, the segments are the perfect solution to this problem as you can use as many or as little as you would like to achieve the perfect look and feel.
